The challenge
In this challenge the goal was to design a mobile music player interface featuring the song Hotel California with autoplay enabled for the playlist. It was important to unsure that button placement is intuitive, with a clear hierarchy that prioritizes the most essential features.

The main functions
The main functions of a music player app are the play/pause and skip buttons, as they are essential for playback control. Other frequently used features include the favorite, replay, and autoplay buttons. However, the importance of these functions may vary depending on individual user needs and preferences. I later emphasized the main functions by using color and size contrast.
The vinyl record concept
During the design process, I experimented with the idea of making the album artwork resemble a vinyl record, surrounded by a circular progress bar that allows users to navigate through the song.
While this design creates an interesting visual impression and evokes a nostalgic '70s vibe, I found that the circular progress bar might not be the most practical choice for real users. However, it was a really fun visual element to experiment with on a digital mobile interface.
The color palette
I chose an orange and yellow hue for the color palette to create a vibrant, energetic, and warm aesthetic. Since these are analogous colors, they also bring a sense of harmony and relaxation to the design.
